At long last, we had a chance to try the beggar's chicken which was recommended by Lionel.
After our wednesday walk at MacRitchie on 11 January 2012, the group of 8 (Betty, Karen, Peggy, Polly, Edward, Jimmy, Lionel and Ow) in two cars found our way to this Ban Heong Seng Restaurant in Skudai Road off Jalan Tahar Johor for a very sumptuous lunch.
Dishes were rather unique and great too! We were also very curious about the way the beggar's chicken, pig's trotters, glutinous rice and the fish were prepared.
We did some shoppings at Jusco Bukit Indah and KSL shopping complexes before having our dinner at the Bak Kut Teh Eatery opposite KSL. Dinner was yummy too!
Ultimately, we headed back to Singapore around 8.30 pm.
We are looking forward to our next destination, Hanoi!
